Westerville: Lecture” Quaker Communities and the Civil War”

[ August 25, 2011; 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. ] Ruth Dobyns, Curator of the Quaker Heritage Center at Wilmington College, will discuss the contributions and history of the Religious Society of Friends who settled in Southwest Ohio. The talk will focus primarily on the activism and response of Quaker  communities to the events of the Civil War.
