It's a very enjoyable read, the book was translated from Constantin Grebner's Die Neuners. The reader experiences life in the 9th Ohio Infantry through the experiences of Constantin Grebner, translated by Frederic Trautmann. For anyone interested in German-American soldiers this book is a must.
