* I am adding this comment on the "Seeking Reenactors and Reenactment Groups" news post here in order to keep everything organized. The Ohio Historical Society does not endorse any reenactors or speakers listed in this forum.

Phil,
I am seeking reenacters for the dedication of an OHS Marker for Union Square in the Village of Bellaire scheduled for June 5, 2010 as a part of the All-American Days Festival. A bounty will be presented upon confirmation of the necessary arrangements to secure a group or groups. The site is a 2 acre grassy park with large trees and is suitable for skirmish or encampment. The site presently includes a large civil war monument erected in 1886. Please call me for more information at 740-676-2743.
Daniel Frizzi, Jr., Esq.

Mr. Frizzi,
The main focus on the NSSA is on live fire competition, not reenacting. I might suggest you contact some local groups who do living history etc. A google search should provide you with some leads.
Phil

You can also contact Bob Minton, commander of the Army of the Ohio. Check some of the posts here for Bob's email. He can put you in contact with units in your area.
