Battery A fires the 1864 cannons on Capitol Square at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio.   This Civil War re-enacting group includes men and women from all over Ohio, and welcomes new recruits.   Interested in joining?   Please contact Paul Hanly at 614/890-4601 or phanly@aol.com.

Many free Civil War events are planned at the Ohio Statehouse in 2011.   That year is also the Sesquicentennial of the completion of the 1861 Statehouse building.
