Two great Ohio resources related to the Civil War are the Ohio Civil War Genealogy Journal published quarterly by the Ohio Genealogical Society.  SCWFO the Society of Civil War Families of Ohio for those folks wishing to honor their Civil War veterans.  The vet can be in your direct lineage or can be a sibling of your direct ancestor.
