Join the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County as they host Mike Rhein of the Cincinnati Civil War Roundtable who will present “William Haines Lytle.” Rhein will talk about this famous Cincinnati Civil War General as part of the Genea
l
ogy & Local History Department’s “Experts Day.” Find out why so many local landmarks have the name “Lytle” including downtown’s Lytle Park, the area where the family originally resided.
To commemorate the Civil War Sesquicentennial, the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County plans to host every year through 2015 a fall speaker series highlighting the history of Cincinnati and the Tri-state Area during the Civil War. All presentations begin at 2 p.m. and will be held in the Genealogy and Local History Study Ares.
