Join the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County as they host David Mowery of the Cincinnati Civil War Roundtable who will present “The John Hunt Morgan Trail.”  Mowery will talk about Morgan’s Raid and Mowery’s own effort to comprehensively mark the raid’s trail through Hamilton County.  The raid may have been closer to your current residence than you think!

To commemorate the Civil War Sesquicentennial, the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County plans to host every year through 2015 a fall speaker series highlighting the history of Cincinnati and the Tri-state Area during the Civil War.  All presentations begin at 2 p.m. and will be held in the Genealogy and Local History Study Ares.
