Join the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County as they host Larry Southwick, Cincinnati Civil War Round Table, who will discuss a vital infrastructure element of the Civil War: the railroad system. Specifically, he will address the stra
tegic importance of the Cincinnati railroad hub and provide insights into how it operated. Railroad enthusiasts will not want to miss this talk.
To commemorate the Civil War Sesquicentennial, the Public Library of Cincinnati & Hamilton County plans to host every year through 2015 a fall speaker series highlighting the history of Cincinnati and the Tri-state Area during the Civil War. All presentations begin at 2 p.m. and will be held in the Genealogy and Local History Study Ares.
