Join the Wayne County Civil War Roundtable for their November program.  Richard Helwig of Sunbury, Ohio will visit Wooster in his authentic Civil War era Santa Claus outfit!  “Santa” will give us the fascinating history of Santa in the Civil War era.  He will also share the lives of the soldiers and their terrible homesickness, especially at Christmas time.  Rick has several letters written by soldiers during that lonely time.  He has been a Santa for many years and is a natural in that esteemed role!
