The John P. Parker Historical Society welcomes students in grades 4, 5, and 6 to its Civil War-themed summer history day camp.
Imagine the Civil War through the John P. Parker and Sam Evans families. See what documents, literature, art, and music tell us about the Civil War. Join the Squirrel Hunters and help with the defense of Brown County against Morgan’s Raid. Tour the Civil War sites in Ripley and Georgetown.
The camp will be June 11-15 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the John P. Parker Historic Site on Ripley’s historic Front Street.
Location: John P. Parker Historic Site, 330 North Front Street, Ripley, OH 45167-1016
