Maumee: Exhibit “Hearts and Hands on the Homefront”

Oregon: Civil War Encampment

[ September 10, 2011; 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. ] Join the Oregon-Jerusalem Historical Society for a  Civil War encampment and guided tours of graves of pioneers and civil war soldiers. Re-enactors stationed at gravesites will speak on their life and history. Food, bake sale and gift tent will also be  available.

Details: Ticket’s on site for $2. Children under 12 Free.

CW150 Advisory Committee Update

The Ohio Civil War 150 Advisory Committee met on Friday July 15, 2011. The committee welcomed four new members: Susan Fryer, Carol Lasser, Fredric Lynch, and Kim Robinson.

Pleasant Hill: Midwest Region North-South Skirmish Competition

August 28, 2011; 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. ] The white smoke of black powder will roll through the valley of the Stillwater August 27th and 28th, 2010 as the North-South Skirmish Association brings the competitive sport of Civil War skirmishing to the newest shooting range in west-central Ohio.
