Co-Sponsored by the Ohio Humanities Council
Mark Holbrook is a native Ohioan, a graduate of The Ohio State University, and an avid student of history. He has been involved in Civil War reenacting, has authored articles, edited a soon-to-be released book on the 49th Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and has given numerous lectures on the Civil War including a speakers series program at the Ross County Heritage Center a few years ago on “Ohio’s Unknown Generals.” This time he will speak on the troops, generals, factories, farms, and Ohio citizens who helped to change the outcome of the war — and in turn how the war changed Ohio and its people.
