Join the Summit County Historical Society of Akron and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park as Bobby Horton presents “Authentic Civil War Music: A Vocal and Instrumental History Lesson.” Using vintage instruments, song and researched history, Mr. Horton will tell the story of the Civil War from the point of the North and South.
Details: Mr. Horton will perform at 2 p.m. Guests may take tours at both the John Brown House and Perkins Stone Mansion from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. while also observing Civil War re-enactors on site.
