James A. Garfield NHS is proud to host a grittily realistic diorama of the Civil War battle of Chickamauga, by far the most well-known engagement in which Union General James A. Garfield participated. This beautiful piece of art was made especially for the site by local artist Bert Floyd. Free of charge (though anyone 16 and over wishing to tour the Garfield home or exhibits is subject to the regular $5.00 entrance fee).
