One caution about using Cold Mountain in the classroom – there is at least one sex scene in it if I remember correctly. Unless there is an edited version of it available, it probably isn’t appropriate for classroom use below college level.

Yes, it would be best to only use certain sections of “Cold Mountain” in the classroom.
